The European Humanities University is the only non-state establishment of higher
education in Belarus that has a state recognized university status. Following
the attestation inspection in 1998, the Belarusian Ministry of Education reconfirmed
this status. The final inspection document sets forward that the EHU meets [national]
requirements for university-type establishments of higher education.
In 1999-2001, eleven EHU's major programs were certified and officially accredited
by the Belarusian Ministry of Education.
Founded in 1993 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the EHU's French-Belarusian
Department of Political and Administrative Sciences is an associated partner of
the system of institutes of political sciences in France. As a result of close
cooperation with French counterparts, diplomas of this Department are recognized
as equivalent to the diplomas of the French Institutes of Political Sciences. |
