Beginning from academic year 2001-2002 EHU is reintroducing the two-cycle model
of higher education programs.
Initially, the EHU was offering academic programs under this model of higher
education. However, at that time the Belarusian Ministry of Education had no legal
basis to accredit such programs officially. That caused the University to adopt
a five-year design for its academic programs, which turned to be an EHU-liberalized
version of the five-year diploma programs traditional for Belarus. |
