UNDERGRADUATE, POSTGRADUATE AND M.A. STUDENTS ARE INVITED
TO PARTICIPATE IN «EUROPE-2003»,
INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL FORUM, TO BE HELD AT THE EHU ON JUNE 4,
2003.
The following directions of sectional work are offered:
1. European Politics: Process of Integration (in
Russian).
2. Economic problems of Contemporary Europe (in
Russian).
3. Main Development Tendencies of International Law
under Globalization (in Russian).
4. Deutschland und Prozess der europaischen Integration
(in der deutschen Sprache).
5. La France d'aujourd'hui : culture, science, politique
(en francais).
6. The USA in a Globalized World (in English).
7. The English language as a Lingua franca of Professionals
(in English).
8. Internet-Technologies, Web-Design and Computer Graphics
(in Russian).
9. The Civil Society: Problems of Formation and Prospects
of Development (in Russian).
10. Law System of Post-Soviet Society: State, Problems
and Prospects (in Russian).
11. Social Theory and its Profiles: the Social and
its Problematization (in Russian).
12. Problem of a Human Being in Modern Philosophy (in

Applications, theses or reports in the article format are to be submitted by
10 May 2003 and sent to: Dr. Svetlana Kurochkina, Department of Research, Postgraduate

The application should include: name and first name of the participant; the
university, faculty/department, year of studies; title of the report and the direction
of sectional work chosen; contact address and telephone numbers; name, first name
and academic title of his/her scientific supervisor.
All the travelling and accommodation expenses shall be borne by the participants.

Participants of the forum are to be divided into sections
including plenary sessions and round tables.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THESES AND REPORTS
Theses (up to 3 pages of computer text) and reports in the article format
(up to 10 pages of computer text) are printed with 1,5 intervals on A4 sheets.
The title is printed in the centre in bold type by capital letters.
The name and first name of the author are placed below, under the title; the
University, Department/Faculty, Year of Studies are placed below it. The name,
first name and academic title of the scientific supervisor should be placed below
as the next line.
The basic text is printed in Microsoft Word 98 for Windows or in Rtf format
by 12 points Times New Roman with at least a five sign indention.
Bibliography is printed after the text with one interval in the order of reference
of the text's sources.
Texts are to be submitted in the form of:
1) paper version (with recommendation of a scientific supervisor to
publish it)
2) electronic version (e-mail: kurochkina@ehu.by
or in diskette in Microsoft Word 98 for Windows or in Rtf format).
The participants who submitted their theses by 10 May 2003 are entitled to
have their reports published as articles if:
a) the report will have a recommendation of the section head;
b) the recommended report in the article format will be submitted in
electronic version to the research department of the EHU by 30 June 2003.
The Organizing Committee has the right to select participants and materials for
publication on the bases of application materials.
Materials that do not meet the requirements of the forum or presented later
than the dates fixed shall not be considered and not sent back. Materials of the
forum will be published in the 4th quarter of the year 2003.
All the travelling and accommodation expenses shall be borne by the participants.
Organizing Committee.
Participants' reports and theses are to be published in the proceedings
of the conference.
The Organizing Committee has the right to select reports and theses for
publication. Authors of the best reports will be awarded with special prizes and
diplomas.
