The Center for Economic and Social Research was set up in 1996 as a scientific
and research unit at the European Humanities University.
The Center aims at conducting fundamental and applied scientific research on economic,
social, and political processes in Belarus; comparative analysis of the transformation
process in European countries, economic and social consequences of the EU's enlargement
for the non-accession countries (Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine). |

The Center focuses its research on the problems of monetary policy, reform
of the banking sector, and
the development of labor markets. |
